Northwest-Shoals is proud to offer personal academic advice to our distance education students. The purpose of an Advisor is to help students select courses that will meet their goals. Some students want to take a course for personal experience and do not care if they receive a grade or if the course transfers  Other students want a course that will transfer to other schools and count toward a degree.  The Cyber Advisor can help with either of these.

The student has access to an entire team of support other than an advisor.
