What is Educational Talent Search?

Educational Talent Search is a federally funded program designed to help selected students finish their education. Its purpose is to assist 6th - 12th grade students in persisting through high school, graduating, and enrolling in college or vocational / training schools after high school. Secondary or postsecondary school dropouts are also assisted in reenrolling in school, or in obtaining a GED.

Services provided by Educational Talent search are "Free." Trained staff visit area schools to provide personal development activities, academic counseling, and encouragement.
