nationally recognized course with Department of Transportation
certification. The Alabama Board of Nursing has recognized this
course for the award of Continuing Education Units.
Camp Westmoreland is located on Shoals Creek
just off U.S. 72 five miles west of Florence. Camping sites are
available. Students should be prepared to eat at local
restaurants or cook at the camp. Showers are located on
site and laundry facilities are close by.
Cost will be the tuition amount for native
students and $650 for non-native students .
The WFR is a joint project of the Outdoor
Leadership Program and the Health Studies
