Northwest-Shoals Community College is in the process of implementing a new emergency communication system, the PATRIOT ALERT, which is a mass notification system, comprised of e-mail, voice and text messaging that is designed to send emergency messages to thousands of individuals in minutes. It supplements existing means of emergency communication. This system is designed to inform you of emergency situations and campus closings only. Your personal contact information is not provided to any other sources and is secure. Plans are for the PATRIOT ALERT system to be activated during the spring 2009 semester. If you would like to participate in the PATRIOT ALERT system, simply fill out the form below. You may choose to opt out of the system at any time.
By submitting this student information form, I authorize NW-SCC to release the above information to School Cast for the exclusive purpose of free registration in the college's Patriot Alert system. I understand that I may cancel participation in Patriot Alert at any time by notifying the NW-SCC Chief of Campus Safety in writing.
