The Division of Health Sciences offers a five semester Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program. Upon satisfactory completion, the Associate of Applied Science Degree is awarded and the graduate is eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) for licensure as a Registered Nurse. Graduation from the program, however, does not guarantee Board of Nursing approval to take the NCLEX-RN licensing examination.
Admission to the ADN Program is competitive, and the number of students is limited by the number of faculty and clinical facilities available. Meeting minimal requirements does not guarantee acceptance.
The ADN programs two primary options:
- PROSPECTIVE ENTRY LEVEL STUDENTS (Generic Option: Traditional & Hybrid Track)
- Fall Admission – Deadline: April 15
- PROSPECTIVE HEALTHCARE TRANSITION (Mobility Option)
- Track 1 (Spring Admission) – Deadline: October 15
- Track 2 (Fall Admission) – Deadline: May 15
An ACT Score is required for all Nursing Applicants.
