Take advantage of the Federal Work Study Program at Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC)! Work Study students are not asked to work nights, weekends, or holidays. Also, this program offers NWSCC students, taking at least six credit hours, valuable work experience while still prioritizing their educational goals!
Students will be paid an hourly rate of $10.00.
How Do I Get Started?
Federal Work Study Requirements:
- Apply for Admission to NWSCC.
- Every student who applies for Federal Work Study must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) first! If you need assistance with the FAFSA application, please contact the NWSCC Financial Aid office on the Shoals Campus at 256-331-5364 or on the Phil Campbell Campus at 256-331-6232.
- Be available to work 12-15 hours each week.
- Fill out the application below and a representative from the NWSCC Career Center will contact you with further instructions.
