Medication Assistant Training

This course is open to currently employed Certified Nursing Assistants. Becoming a Medication Assistant upskills the CNA into a position that is capable of dispersing certain medications and eligible for higher pay within most facilities. After passing this Medication Assistant Course, the student will be eligible to sit for the registry test to become a certified Medication Assistant.

Certification as a Medication Assistant enables the individual to obtain employment in long-term care facilities and hospitals generally at a higher rate of pay than a Certified Nurse Assistant.
