MUSCLE SHOALS, ALA. — Do not miss the Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) Ready to Work (RTW) Program’s new student session beginning Monday, April 24th, for individuals at least 16 years of age who are seeking a new or more fulfilling career.
New student sessions for the Ready to Work program are FREE to the community. Sessions will be held on the Shoals campus in building 127.
The RTW Program is operated by the Alabama Community College System’s Division of Workforce Development in cooperation with Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT). Upon successful completion, trainees earn the following certifications: 1) Alabama Certified Worker (ACW) and 2) National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC), commonly referred to as WorkKeys. Also, participants can earn a FREE college course. A new certification participants can now earn through the RTW program is the OSHA 10 training and forklift certification.
