MUSCLE SHOALS, ALA. — Northwest Shoals Community College’s (NWSCC) Business Division hosted the third annual high school business division competition on the Shoals campus for approximately 375 students from 18 area high schools and career technical centers last week.
Area high school students competed in 16 areas: Advertising Design, Bank Reconciliation, Computer Maintenance, Cover Letter, Cyber Security Decryption, Electronic Spreadsheet, Financial Statements, Java Programming, Job Interview, Keyboarding, Payroll Accounting, PowerPoint, Python Programming, Résumé, Web Design, and Word Processor.
Competing schools consisted of: Allen Thornton Career Technical Center, Brooks High School, Central High School (Florence), Cherokee High School, Colbert County High School, Deshler High School, Franklin County Career Technical Center, Haleyville Center of Technology, Hamilton High School, Lawrence County High School (Ala.), Lawrence County Technology Center (Ala.), Lexington High School, Muscle Shoals Career Academy, Phil Campbell High School, Red Bay High School, Rogers High School, Russellville High School and Wilson High School.
