SHEFFIELD, ALA. — The ninth annual Sheffield Street Party will be held Saturday, May 11th, in downtown Sheffield (on Montgomery Ave.). The concert will benefit the Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) Foundation scholarship fund.

The concert will feature The TAMS, Daniel Smith, The Sledge Review and The Fab Four. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. with music starting at 7:00 p.m.

The Fab Four is a Beatles tribute band that perform live renditions of Beatles’ songs. The Fab Four re-create the Beatles through their music, costumes and instruments. Their performance includes three costume changes representing every era of the Beatles ever-changing career. The group has performed for audiences across the globe, including Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, The United Kingdom, Germany, Mexico and Brazil. They are well-known for entertaining audiences with such classics as “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Yesterday,” “A Day In The Life,” “Penny Lane,” “Here Comes The Sun,” and “Hey Jude.”

The TAMS, a hit group from the 1960s, are best known for such hits “Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy”, “What Kind of Fool”, and “I’ve Been Hurt.” The group has had four number one songs at the national and international levels.

General admission tickets are available for $25 in advance and $30 at the gate. The Sheffield Street Party has generated over $164,000 in scholarship funds to support NWSCC students.
