Event: Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) Adult Education Program will hold the 2022 Adult Education Graduation ceremony Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Patriot Center (Gym) on the Shoals Campus.

According to the NWSCC Adult Education Program, 71 students have completed requirements for their GED from July of 2021 through June of 2022. An additional 17 students have completed requirements for the nontraditional high school diploma.

The nontraditional high school diploma was rolled out by the state at the end of 2016. The nontraditional high school diploma helps students who either dropped out of high school without earning the necessary credits to graduate or did not pass one or all parts of the Alabama High School Graduation Exam (which is no longer given).

When: The graduation ceremony will be held Thursday, July 14, at 6:00 p.m.
