MUSCLE SHOALS, ALA. — Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) will host Party with the Patriots, a W.C. Handy Music Festival event, featuring The Midnighters on Thursday, July 28, from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in front of the fountain on the Shoals campus.

The Midnighters are a staple of entertainment for the W.C. Handy Music Festival and in the Shoals. The six person soul band have been performing in the Shoals since 1986. Band members include Earnest Davis, James Roy, Barry Billings, Marcus Burke, Libby Counts, and James Counts.
The event will be free and open to the public. It will include live music, food trucks, and an opportunity to meet the new NWSCC Patriots baseball and softball players. Guests are encouraged to bring outdoor folding chairs.
The Party with the Patriots event is the culmination of a two-day, July 27-28, fall registration event on the NWSCC Phil Campbell and Shoals campuses. Those that attend one of the registration sessions receive access to the VIP tent at the event.
