MUSCLE SHOALS & PHIL CAMPBELL, ALA. — Northwest Shoals Community College’s (NWSCC) Student Support Services will provide the third annual University Transfer Panel Discussion for NWSCC students Thursday, February 6, 2020.

The panel discussion will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. in Building 305 (student center) on the Phil Campbell campus and from 1 – 4 p.m. in Building 110 (seminar room) on the Shoals campus.

According to NWSCC Student Support Services Manager, Brittany Jones, the transfer panel will provide students with valuable insights on what college life will be like at a university setting.

The transfer panel discussion will provide current NWSCC students with an opportunity to ask questions and talk with representatives from nine universities.

  • Athens State University

  • Huntingdon College

  • Mississippi State University

  • Troy University

  • University of Alabama

  • University of Alabama at Birmingham

  • University of Alabama in Huntsville

  • University of North Alabama

  • University of West Alabama

“This is a great opportunity to show our students what college will be like on different university campuses,” said Jones. “Our students are preparing for a major step in their lives as they transition from the community college to the university environment. As they hear from universities of all different sizes, we feel it will help them be better prepared and more successful.”
