MUSCLE SHOALS & PHIL CAMPBELL, ALA. — After communication with the Alabama Community College System office, Northwest-Shoals Community College (NW-SCC), as well as all other community colleges in Alabama, will transition all academic courses to a completely online format. All career technical and health studies courses will be taught online during June and most will be transitioned to campus later in the semester to complete skills components. Individual instructors will work with students concerning the transition to campus.
Beginning June 1st, all students who were not able to complete the skills portion of their courses in the spring semester will be given the opportunity to come to campus to complete their missed coursework. These students will be contacted by their instructors to receive specific details.
The summer semester first mini-term and full-term courses begin Tuesday, May 26. The summer eight-week term begins Tuesday, June 2, and the second mini-term begins Thursday, June 25.
