MUSCLE SHOALS, ALA. — The Northwest Shoals Community College (NWSCC) Public Relations and Marketing Department received six awards and was recognized for its outstanding marketing and public relations efforts by the Alabama Community College System Public Relations Association (ACCSPRA).

Last week during ACCSPRA’s annual conference in Gulf Shores, Ala., NWSCC Director of Public Relations and Marketing Trent Randolph accepted two Pyramid Awards, three Awards of Achievement, and one Award of Merit.
The College was presented awards in the following categories for marketing and public relations materials created and/or used during the 2022-2023 year:

Award of Achievement (2nd place)
- Flyer
- Photography (Graphically Manipulated)
- Photography (Unaltered)
Award of Merit (3rd place)
- Schedule / Annual Report / Registration Guides
The Pyramid Awards ceremony recognized best practices from Alabama Community College public relations and marketing professionals who submitted marketing and public relations materials to an independent panel of judges. Approximately 300 entries were submitted among almost 20 colleges.
The mission of ACCSPRA is to enhance the image, strengthen and promote awareness and public perception of the Alabama Community College System.
