Welcome to the PARC!

The Patriot Advocacy and Resource Center (PARC) supports Northwest Shoals students and helps them overcome barriers that may hinder them from a college education. The PARC provides eligible students on the Phil Campbell and Shoals campuses with basic resources.  The PARC is 100 percent funded through a United States Department of Education grant.

PARC Food Pantry Hours

    9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Grocery Appointments Only)

  • TUESDAY
    9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Snacks and Quick Meals)
    2:00 – 3:30 PM (Grocery Walk-In)

  • WEDNESDAY
    9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Snacks and Quick Meals)

*Grocery shopping appointments are subject to change based on PARC Scheduled Activities.

PARC Policies

  • Upon completion of the Basic Needs Application, please allow 48 hours for the application review.
  • Be prepared to answer supporting questions and provide documentation, if needed.
  • All applicants must meet and/or speak with PARC staff prior to receiving any services.
  • If you are an eligible PARC Participant who uses any of the Requested Services, you are expected to attend PARC workshops and/or volunteer time at the PARC.
  • If at any time a PARC Participant is suspected of abusing the privileges of the PARC, it is at the discretion of the Basic Needs Manager to discontinue services.
